A Bunch Of Looneys

... Just a few days before the new year rolled in, my bestfriend came by the house for her weekly visit. Minutes after she arrived and settled down... she asked me to join her team on 2 on going projects. To her delight..I actually said "Okay, why not??". Made it clear to her that I only want to do booklets, NO going to meetings... NO making phone calls for bookings.... No checking on follow ups..... NO nonsense. She said "Okay, set". Yeah, right!!!! Like I didn't really see it coming that it would be an adventure of many meetings...many booklets...and long long hours. And in the middle of it all, another job came by and the Film Director said "We'll do it". HolyCow.... 3 freakin' jobs to shoot in a month, that's Madness!!! I don't know how my bestfriend does it for the past 2 years...but I really give her a standing "tabit spring".

To make matters worst.... my bestfriend didn't actually tell me that she plans to take a 2 week holiday break soon after I hopped on board. I swear she owns me BIG time for this.

I must say that with all my complaints.... it's actually really FUN when you work with a BUNCH of LOONEYs. Seriously... it makes your work a pleasure in an odd mysterious way. Go figure??!!

A Film Director who is a crazy workaholic and you hardly see him eat..... An Executive Producer who is at times in her own world and forever on the phone checking on things .... An Assistant Director who has the same "wave lenght" that no one else will understand when we both crack a joke.... A Line Producer who is just as mental as I am, if not crazier.... A Production Designer who speaks just about 5 sentences in a day but churns out amazing work of art..... A Location Manager who thinks that long hair is still in for men..... A Production Assistant who holds a title of an A.O.C.D "all oso can do".... and last but not least my 2 assistants who are my Angels in shinning amour that pulled thru preparing 40 sets of booklets which went out for 2 separate meetings on the same freakin' day.

.... Saluté to the TEAM ....
