we're P R E G N A N T!!
on the 3rd March friday as we were about to go to sleep, i turned to Josh and told him... "I think we're pregnant". and his face litted up and broke into a wide smile and he said... "really? are you sure?"
the next day I did the home pregnancy test and sure enough the two pink lines appeared before my very eyes. came out of the toilet and passed Josh the test kid with the instruction paper and walked off. thought that it'd be fun to let him figure out for himself... hee hee.
and so we broke the news to our closest friends the next day. and boy were they excited.
saved the news for both our parents the week after. thought that since my mom's birthday was on the 11th what better birthday present it would be for her. we both had a deal where I'd tell his parents and as he would mine. so over the birthday dinner, Josh spilled the beans to them. they were obviously excited to have their 4th grandchild on the way.
the very next day, we both broke the news to my siblings in laws over at Pantai Hill. they were all happy for the both of us and terribly excited to see the faces of my parents in law when we tell them the news of the new arrival to the family.

our friends just had their first angel recently and the wife recommended us to go to Global Doctors at Mont Kiara. our doctor is Doctor Yoga. a very nice fella i must say and has a great sense of humor. that's a plus point in my books.
our 1st check up was 15th March, the baby is 0.71cm @ 6 and a half weeks. i'm weighing in at 51kgs.
our angel grew so much within a month, on the 15th April, Saturday we had our 2nd check up. the doctor did the usual plus he also checked if the baby is prone to have down syndrome by measuring just at the bottom tip of the head to check for signs of it. bless our angel, the baby looks good. this time the baby is just under 3 months old measuring 3.8cm. i somehow managed to gain a termendous amount of weight which the doctor was not too happy with. it's now 54.5kgs!! that's 3.5kgs in a month! so i got my fair share of "You've got to start goin' to the gym now". oopsss!!
had my best friend with us on this particular visit. she was ecstatic to see the baby's heart beat! the doctor had a ball trying to measure our lil' angel cause our angel as practically doin' the mexican wave, with hands flying here and there. as if waving to say "Hi!" to us.
had our 3rd check up on Monday, 15th May at our usual time 11am. this time Doctor Yoga took some blood sample from me. i'm doin' not too bad on the weighing scale this time round, added myself 1kg making it 55.5kgs. the baby is now 8.7cm and healthy at 15 and a half weeks.
the one thing that i'm really enjoying out of this pregnancy is flonting my ever growing boobies!! yee haa!!
