A Not So Happy Birthday....

.......Chillin' at my haus.....and at the stroke of midnight on 2nd October 2004, my bestfriend Ira screamed !!!!! I thought she spilled her drink on her computer. But that was not the reason...it was WORST than that.... She LOST her current on-going job files!!
How you ask? By accidently empting her Trash folder when in actual fact she was in the process of archiving all her work file.
 
The whole haus was in Chaos and Ira was in Trauma. And guess what? 2nd October is her BIRTHDAY !!!!
 
It took about an hour trying to see MAYBE just maybe she actually placed the files somewhere in her computer by mistake while she was transfering and draging folders. In the end we accepted the fact that..NOPE...it's GONE from the computer.
 
Anybody and everybody knows that once you empty your Trash folder....there is NO turning back. But thankgod for people who created applications that enables you to retrieve your STooPID mistakes. And it took hours and hours and hours and more hours to locate and retrieve the lost files...
 
Thankfully we have a spa appointment this afternoon, a birthday gift for her from my Mista & me..... So that will HELP her ease the trauma.

And as I'm writting this she is still trying to locate it... [cross your fingers everybody...cause it's her LIFE we're talking about here]
